Heatwave alert for Mumbai, Raigad, and Thane

Maharashtra cities like Mumbai, Raigad, and Thane will experience very high temperatures on April 15 and April 16, according to IMD. The regional forecast for Mumbai indicates temperatures ranging from 38°C to 24°C today and tomorrow.

The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave warning for Mumbai, Raigad, and Thane for today and tomorrow, with temperatures likely to range between 36-38 degrees Celsius. Heatwaves are also forecasted in North Goa, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and West Bengal.

IMD's daily weather bulletin for Maharashtra predicts heatwave conditions in North Konkan districts. Mumbai and surrounding areas will experience clear skies with heatwave-like conditions on Monday, with temperatures ranging from 39°C to 24°C. Similar weather is expected on Tuesday, April 26, with temperatures between 38°C and 24°C in the city.
